Special Wire Ropes
DIEPA special wire ropes for use on equipment that demands the highest degree of precision, durability and safety from component parts. They are designed and manufactured to afford a higher level of in-service rope safety and reliability and are reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO).

Types of Special Wire Ropes
- Rotation resistant on mobile cranes, tower cranes, offshore crane, etc.
- Non-rotation resistant for indoor cranes, ladle cranes, steel mill cranes, mobile harbor cranes and gantry cranes as well as Luffing rope for cranes, etc.
- Compacted strands / ropes: for higher breaking force and higher stability
- Plastified steel core using only ultra-modern plastics for high bending fatigue resistance and high flexibility

Cutting edge newly developed „PROTECT 8“-non-rotation resistant special wire
This DIEPA special wire rope has been developed for specific use in Drag Lines and Rope Shovels. As a special feature, each outer strand is plastic-covered individually, resulting in higher flexibility and bending resistance and increasing the safety level significantly by the visibility of the single strands. It is available for all common mining machinery in diameters from 19 mm to 127 mm (3/4″ to 5″).
This special wire rope has been developed for specific use in Drag Lines and Rope Shovels.
As a special feature, each outer strand is plastic-covered individually, resulting in higher flexibility and bending resistance and increasing the safety level significantly by the visibility of the single strands.
It is available for all common mining machinery in diameters from 50 mm to 80 mm (2″ to 3″).
